買い物や外食に便利なのがクレジットカードです。
私も常時２、３枚は保有しています。
最近ではインターネットショッピングや、ポイントの付加など、高機能化が進んでいます。
なんですが、カードの不正利用が後を絶たず、カード番号を割り出して悪用する
「クレジットマスター」と呼ばれる新手の手口が現れました。
本当に困ります。
おちおちクレジットカードも使えない世の中なんて、
どうなんですかね？？？
どのように番号を割り出すのか、防衛策はあるのでしょうか？？
以下、参考にできる記事を引っ張っておくので目を通しておいてください。
欧米ではクレジットマスターに必要な計算を自動的に行うソフトもインターネット上に公開されているといい、
被害の拡大が心配されている。
カード会社側からは、買い物サイトなどの運営者側に、カード番号だけでなく、
暗証番号を入力させるよう、チェックの強化を求める声が出ているが、費用がかかるため、
改善は進んでいない。
元暴力団組員の男が利用した旅行サイトもカード番号と有効期限の入力だけで決済が可能なままになっている。
個人の自衛手段はこまめに利用明細書をチェックし、身に覚えのない利用があればカード会社に連絡することだ。
不正に利用された場合、６０日以内なら支払いが免責されるケースが多い。
長谷川専務理事は「利用者が暗証番号の入力など個人認証システムを導入しているサイトを使うようにして、
不正防止の風潮を作り上げていくしかない。そうすれば、サイトの運営者も改善せざるを得ないのではないか」と話している。記事元
